Anaheim, CALIFORNIA – A pedestrian was fatally injured on Saturday after a vehicle struck him on an Anaheim street. Orange County Police responded to the accident at Anaheim Boulevard and Cerritos Avenue, said, Lieutenant Brian Browne.
The investigation closed the intersection for a time. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated with police. It is unclear whether the man died at the scene or if he was taken to the hospital and died there.
Police have not released the names of the involved individuals and continue to investigate what caused the driver to hit the pedestrian.
