Here’s what to expect when you sign up for texts from RMD Law.
Program name. RMD Law Text Messaging.
What we text about. If you’ve contacted us about a legal matter, or you’re a client, we may text you to respond to your inquiry, schedule a consultation, remind you about appointments, ask for documents, or update you on your case.
How you sign up. You can opt in by entering your mobile number on a form on our website and submitting it, by texting us first, or by telling our staff it’s okay to text you. Our texts come from [SENDING NUMBER(S)].
You don’t have to sign up. Agreeing to texts isn’t required to hire us, get a free consultation, or use our services. You can always call us at [MAIN PHONE] or email [SUPPORT EMAIL].
How often. Message frequency varies depending on your inquiry and where your case stands.
Cost. We don’t charge for texts, but message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier about your plan.
How to stop. Reply STOP to any message to opt out. STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END, QUIT, and HALT work too. You’ll get one text confirming you’re unsubscribed, and then no more texts from us. Changed your mind? Reply START or UNSTOP to opt back in.
Carrier disclaimer. Mobile carriers aren’t liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number. Only sign up with a mobile number that’s yours or that you have permission to use. You must be 18 or older. If you change or give up your number, reply STOP from it or let us know.
Keep sensitive details off text. Texting isn’t a secure way to share private information. Please call us to talk about the sensitive details of your case.
Your privacy. We won’t share your mobile information with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent won’t be shared with any third parties, except service providers that help us send our messages. See our Privacy Policy for more.
Using our website, filling out a form, emailing us, or texting with us doesn’t make you our client. An attorney-client relationship starts only when we both sign a written agreement. Until then, please don’t send confidential or time-sensitive information through the website.
